Demi Lovato

Demetria Demi Lovato, 22, is an American singer and actress. She was born in Albuquerque on August 20, 1992. She was the daughter of Dianna De la Garza and Patrick Martin Lovato. Demi began her career as a child actress on 'Barney & Friends.' She was cast in the Disney Channel short called "As the Bell Rings" followed by a main role in the film Camp Rock. Demi began to record songs for the Camp Rock soundtrack during filming. Since then, she has been recording solo albums. Lovato was cast in the role of Sonny with a Chance in 2009 in a different Disney Channel program. In 2012, she and her husband became judges on The X Factor, a program on TV that focuses on contestants from the world of singers and composers. Lovato is a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Her mother Dianna Lovato also was a singer and country musician. His paternal half-sister Amber is born in 1983. Their big cousin Dallas is also a performer and actress.
