Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is a gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast who has led her U.S. team to victories in both 2012 and 2016. Aly has won seven Olympic medals and two World Championships gold medals. Aly, a native Massachusettsn, fell in love with gymnastics at the age of just 18 months. She took a mommy and me class. Aly has been an active supporter of body positive, and is both an active leader as well as a participant in the gym. She has recently spoken out regarding Larry Nassar's sentencing. Aly Raisman was born in 1994 and began gymnastics career at a very young age. She assisted to help the U.S. Gymnastics Team win the 2011 World Championships. She won two medals in 2012 during the London Summer Olympics in London, one for the team as well as one in the floor exercise. Raisman was back at the Olympics twice in Rio in 2016and won two silver medals. One in each of the all-around floor and all-around exercises, and one for gymnastics in the women's team competition. Raisman disclosed in 2017 that she was sexually abused by former team doctor Larry Nassar. The following year, she filed the lawsuit with USA Gymnastics as well as the U.S. Olympic Committee.
